What is Cyberbullying?

 

Cyberbullying is the use of technology to bully a person or group with the intent to hurt them socially, psychologically or even physically.

What is Cyber Abuse?

 

Cyber abuse is online behaviour which is reasonably likely to have a seriously threatening, intimidating, harassing or humiliating effect on a person. It is behaviour that threatens to hurt a person socially, psychologically or even physically.

SCAMwatch is a website run by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). SCAMwatch provides information to consumers and small businesses about how to recognise, avoid and report scams. They also publish the Little Black Book of Scams.
ThinkUKnow is a free, evidence-based cyber safety program that provides accessible cyber safety education to parents, carers and teachers through schools and organisations across Australia.
 
Alannah & Madeline Foundation is a group dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. The eSmart Program is an initiative of the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, designed to empower students to be safe and responsible online. It encompasses a range of learning tools and resources to help students build essential digital and media literacy skills, so they can thrive online.
