What if it doesn’t renew? |
If it doesn’t renew. That means a block has occurred, such as the item has a reservation, or you might have some outstanding loans and so on. |
Does Auto Renewals apply across the board with all items in the library? |
This follows our current renewal policy. with renewal occurring twice. The only difference is that the borrower does not need to remember to renew their items. If an item belongs to a collection with restricted renewals, or the item has a reservation, etc, that item will not be renewed. |
Will the Auto Renewal notice be in addition to the Loan reminder (3 , 5 or 7 days) before the due date? |
Yes, the loan reminders are unchanged (however wording has been added about autorenewals), the autorenewal notice will be a separate notice to let you know the renewal was successful 3 days before it is due. |
How will the I know if it’s been renewed? |
A notice will be sent at 7am 3 days inclusive of when the items are due. If that hasn’t been sent that’s when a block has occurred on your card. |
If my library does not have my email, will I be notified by SMS? |
You should be, as long as you have given your phone number to the library. |
